  • The process commenced with the dismantling of the bolt and nut feeding units at  Bukit Beruntung factory. Subsequently, the machinery and structural components were relocated and loaded at Rasa factory, where installation works were carried out until the spot-welding equipment was successfully power up and tested.
  • As part of the station setup, supporting goalpost frames were assembled, and the working area was upgraded with ventilation fans and overhead lighting to enhance operational safety and efficiency.

APL LINE TRANSFER

•This project involved the complete relocation and setup of MPL and APL robot stations, including the dismantling, transportation, and reinstallation

•This project involved the complete relocation and setup of MPL and APL robot stations, including the dismantling, transportation, and reinstallation of key production components. The scope began with the disassembly of RSJ beams, structural frameworks, welding stations, YASKAWA industrial robots, controller panels, and jigs at Bukit Beruntung factory.

•Following the dismantling phase, all equipment and structures were carefully loaded, transported, and unloaded at Tanjung Malim factory. In addition to mechanical and electrical installations, the project also included the setup of essential supporting infrastructure such as safety fencing, industrial lighting, and ventilation fans, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment at the new site.

PERODUA - BUMPER SHOP LIFTER DOOR UPGRADE

At Perodua’s Bumper Shop, we had to change 4 shutter doors for two sets of lifter system. Before this upgrade, production was using manual shutter door system which raised few safety counter measurements. GTG upgrades this system by changing the manual steel door to automatic PVC Cloth door which is way convenient and ergonomically safe for human interaction. In addition, a new control panel were also installed which also enhances the safety measurements which enables not to open the shutter when there is no lift detected on that specific floors. In a nutshell, this upgrade has a anti-bypass system which controlled by the servo motor encoder switch thus, making it more safer while interacting with the lift.

Relay out work for D74A rear sus line is a work that involved in aspect of mechanical and electrical (M&E). There were multiple welding robots’ machineries that needed to relocate around the factory. This term comes with many jobs’ breakdowns such like in examples of in Electrical-needed to supply new cables and install electrical lines facilities, lights and industrial fan installation. As for the mechanical part-needed to dismantle and reposition the air and gas hoses to each station to the new location. In advance, installing cable trunking, cable ladder and relocating other equipment and lastly anchoring the machines were also done.

The M&E works consist of a spot-welding robot cell installed with its water supply & return as well as air supply piping line. This is an auto production line with the cell consist of spot gun welding mount to Yaskawa arm robot. This cell having system of sharing 2 jigs for Proton SS-11 Doorsill part. The installation process involves safety fence and light curtain sensor as safety future and equipped with fan, power sockets and lighting.

WSS Monosashi nut feeder and bolt feeder installation are projects aiming to upgrade the WSS Monosashi nut and bolt feeding process by installing Japan’s Yajima Giken feeding new machine in PHN Shah Alam 2 branch. In this project, GTG ensure the newly bought machines are well wired, precisely calibrated the machine alignment achieving feeding accuracy and preparing an HMI to increase machine operator’s efficiency.

NEW LOCAL EXHAUST & VENTILATION SYSTEM INSTALLATION AT SUBANG

Modification of ducting system which is tapping to existing main ducting line for D74a & D55L front suspension line. The secondary ducting is then divided to mig robot welding station. It is connected to the hood mounted on top of each station.

Chimney from the main duction line of front suspension then extend to 3 meter above factory roof following to the environment regulation. This because the hot fumes are less dense than the air particles. They rise within the chimney. The vapor, fumes, etc., around the furnace haste, into their place, and they are engulfed out. Thus, the chimney helps to separate the undesired fumes, smoke, etc.

D74a Line Upgrade involve of 3 line which is rear suspension, front suspension and lower arm station. This upgrade required as the volume part produce has increase.

Rear Suspension involve in installation of new platform for new robot controller. Previously, the jig is sharing robot with d55l jig.

Front suspension involves work of station expansion. Relocation of 2 unit Jig for placing new handling robot and welding equipment.
